THE COMPANY

Cia. Artilugio, is an Italian-Chilean company, born in 2019,  finilized the School of Circus and Theatre CAU.
It was born from the meeting of Giada Marilungo (Rome, Italy) and Paul Magne (Coyhaique, Chile), who, coming from different promotions of the same school, come together with the illusion of creating a professional company and discovering a common language between circus and theatre.

Giada Marilungo

She discovered her passion for  circus as a teenager. At the circus school in Rome
She begins to practice aerial disciplines, and soon decided to continue her training professionally at Carampa Circus School in Madrid (promotion 2015-2017) where she
specialised in static trapeze.
Later on, she finds herself in theatre and
balancing on bottles and tight rope and in hand to hand as flyer. Her interest in circus merges with her interest in theatre, and she undertakes further
 studies at the Cau International
International School of Circus and Theatre Cau in
Granada (class of 2018-2020).

Paul Magne

He discovered circus at the age of 24 after studying Sociology at the Universidad de la Frontera in Chile.
He started to train himself as a self-taught artist
for several years and founded a circus association for
for children and adults, where he organises workshops and works as a circus educator.
At the same time he creates the circus company,
"Circosofos" , with which he toured
around the south of Chile (2015-2017).
Finally he decides to travel to Spain to study
professionally
at the International School of Circus and Theatre CAU,
located in Granada (2017-2019).
Actually his primary disciplines are slack rope and hand to hand as base, and his secondary disciplines are unycicle and juggling.
